The second IQ Congress will take place on 6-7 December 2016 at the bcc (berlin congress center) in Berlin, Germany. The event will be an opportunity to further advance the discussion about  the future of migrant integration in Germany, a topic which already defined the IQ Congress 2014.

Taking into account the recent shifts in the socio-political context and in the integration debate, this year’s congress will pay special attention to the integration of refugees, to  the challenges inherent in this task as well as to the opportunities to foster a more inclusive society. The central question will be: which legislative, political and societal framework conditions are needed to improve the social participation of migrants, particularly of refugees and asylum seekers?
